- Producer sends the request and the general product description to the ExNB. The request document is available here.
- Contracting.
- The Producer prepares documentation on the protection methods applied and the technical documentation.
- ExNB checks the documents.
- The Producer sends or takes personally representative samples to the ExNB.
- ExNB tests samples.
- In case of error or non-compliance, the Producer makes the repairs.
- The ExNB prepares the ATEX Evaluation Report.
- In case of compliance, ExNB issues the EU Type Examination Certificate.
- The ExNB will display the mandatory information to be displayed on the website.
